http://rachelwalsh.tumblr.com is now a tumblr again! Not me of course, but I’m sure she’s still worthy of the title with a name as cool as that. Now that there’s another Rachel Walsh on tumblr, I really AM The Other Rachel Walsh again. I hope she appreciates me giving up that tumblr name so she could have it…

Sooo, never mind. It was just too weird having a “rachelwalsh” tumblr and a “theotherrachelwalsh” tumblr; it defeated the purpose of being ”the other” Rachel Walsh if I was also the original “rachelwalsh”.
I didn’t want to go back to rwalsh6 and just “rachel” is taken (Hm, “justrachel” might be a cool URL). Anyways, NOW this tumblr is “rachel1”…. although if you’re reading this I suppose you don’t need me to tell you that.
And I would just like to say “you’re welcome” to the next Rachel Walsh who comes around and wants to make a tumblr using their name. So, you’re welcome Rachel Walsh. Also, you have a pretty nifty name.

All my life there have been other Rachel’s. In grade and high school I would hear my name called out in the halls so frequently that I eventually just stopped looking up when I heard my name. (I would get people asking me “Didn’t you hear me shouting your name?” and then me going, “Erm, yeah, I just- Uh..”).
So when I decided to make a tumblr I wasn’t at all surprised that “rachelwalsh” was taken (I always have a very hard time creating usernames and e-mail addresses). I had to get creative and came up with “theotherrachelwalsh”. I liked it, maybe more than just using my name; it was “witty”, as a friend described it.
I just, for the hell of it, decided to check out “rachelwalsh”s tumblr - the girl who stole my name. But I couldn’t! Tumblr informed me that the page no longer existed. Hazzah! My name is up for grabs! I was going to change my “real” tumblr but I decided I liked “theotherrachelwalsh” and didn’t want to part with it just yet. I was going to just forget about it but I decided instead to take “rachelwalsh” for this tumblr’s URL, which had previously been rwalsh6; I couldn’t just let rachelwalsh go! Another Rachel Walsh is most definitely going to come along and want to take it. So I stole it back!
I have now claimed my rightful tumblr name: rachelwalsh.
But I guess I now have the URL that caused me to be the “other” Rachel Walsh in the first place. Hm.
